The steppes of Aragón hold one of the most elusive birds in Western Europe, and this short route is built entirely around finding it: the Dupont's Lark.
This three-day trip is a focused push into the open plains north of Barcelona, timed to the bird's dawn song and shaped day by day around light, wind and activity. Early starts, patient waiting in the field, and the flexibility to stay on a bird as long as it takes define the pace. Three days in one place, working the same ground until the light and the bird align.
Rafael Armada will be with you throughout, working alongside you on positioning, light and timing. The kind of attention that only works in very small groups and with enough time to do things properly.

In three days we combine targeted sessions for Dupont’s Lark with flexible time in nearby steppe areas. Early mornings and late afternoons maximize the soft light, while the middle of the day is used to move between hotspots or rest. The pace is relaxed, but the focus is sharp: quality encounters and time to work on the images you want.
