Baptiste Bataille is a Belgian biologist, ornithologist and wildlife photographer, as well as a SONY Belgium Ambassador and ambassador for Kite Optics and Tragopan hides.
After working in biological research and co-authoring a book on sustainable agricultural practices for biodiversity conservation, he went on to found an organic food distribution cooperative before returning fully to his work in the field.
Today Baptiste dedicates much of his time to exploring natural habitats and documenting wildlife through photography. He is also a partner at Jama Photo Store, one of Europe’s leading specialist retailers for nature photography equipment.
Baptiste loves to share his experience by guiding photographers and nature enthusiasts in the field, helping them refine their observation skills and approach to wildlife photography. His main focus is on mammals, always approached with deep respect for wildlife and the unpredictable encounters that nature offers.
