Rafael is one of our Birding Guides and Tour Leaders in Colombia, based in Cundinamarca. With a background as an environmental engineer, he combines his professional training with a deep passion for birds and the natural landscapes of the Andes.

He has more than eight years of field experience guiding birders across Colombia, particularly in the Eastern Andes region, where he has developed a strong familiarity with local habitats and birdlife.

Rafael combines solid knowledge with practical field skills, helping visitors explore Colombia’s remarkable avifauna through careful observation and productive time in the field.
